I just got new running shoes, and they have this white mesh on them. I stepped in mud, and that turned the brightly white mesh darker, so it looks like there gray and old. Is there anyway to make my white mest to look new again?

Wash them just like you would wash clothes and dry them outside. Thats what I do, and their clean=)

if you plan on being a serious runner get used to your shoes getting dirty the first day and staying that way for the entire season...
i wouldnt suggest washing them..
it could screw up the cusioning. but if you da take the insoles out first so you dont mess those up
