Where to buy backpack, running shoes in BANGKOK?

I am looking for a genuine silk sleeping bag, a good quality backpack, high quality daypack and running shoes size 11 (US) and genuine Teva's.


Also i am looking for those paper balloons, the ones where you light a candle underneath and the heat makes them go up.

Cost is obviously not a consideration for you. With that in mind, go to Siam Paragon. Discovery Center and MBK are both close by. As is Siam Square.





Paragon will be the most expensive but has everything you are looking for. You can head over to Hard Rock after you finish shopping.





The sleeping bag might be hard to get. Any particular reason you are looking for a silk sleeping bag?

Reply:If you are in Bangkok, you can check out the brand name shops in the Discovery Center (2nd and 3rd floor) or go to the sports goods section of the Central Chidlom department store. There you'll find a lot of stuff for the Great Outdoors.
