Are aesics running shoes worth buying?

I asked a guy one day is running on concrete bad for your knees. He replied not if you wear aesics shoes?

Are aesics running shoes worth buying?
Runners swear by them.
Reply:asics i have bought before and i liked them, i have owned almost every brand of running shoes. i really like saucony, but asics were good too.

Reply:I have been currently using nikes but i have owned and used asics and i loved them. im not sure if they%26#039;re better for running on concrete though. i think this track season im going to get a new pair of asics.

Reply:running on concrete is the worst surface to run on no matter what shoe you wear, that being said, asics are probably the best running shoe for most conditions but shoes are also a matter of personal preference
