Best running shoes?

Just a curious question, how many folks out there like Asics for running shoes? I personally think they are by far the best!

Best running shoes?
I like Nike the best sorry! but I think I might try Asics to see if your right!
Reply:New Balance. Helps out your posture
Reply:Asics are pretty awesome! I have a couple of pairs of Kayanos, but am probably going to go with Fortitudes for my next pair since these are supposed to be better fitting for people that use orthotics. Aside from Asics, Saucony, New Balance and Brooks are excellent running shoes. Nike is average, at best, for running shoes. For the highest quality, go with one of the others that I%26#039;ve listed.
Reply:I like New Balance... they seem to be the only shoes that come narrow enough for my feet.

Since everyone%26#039;s feet are different, then everyone will have different %26quot;best%26quot; shoes. Nothing beats a good running store for trying on as many shoes as possible to find one that will work for you.
Reply:AS a long time runner/ triathalete and PT, I generally stick with asics, they have a large range for all foot types and gaits, which really is the most important thing to be looking at. Ive used saucony, NB (awesome foot width range, prolly the best ), with some success but tend to think they are better for specialist areas , and as for nike... the day air trainer 2s came is the day they sold functionality up the river for gimmicks, I loved waffle trainers, oregons ldvs but once the air system took ahold it was timeto give up on nike as a main stay running shoe, every pair ive tried since ive thrown in the bin after 1 or 2 runs, bring back the curve lasted shoe and i might try again ))
Reply:I think anything by Nike is great, especially their running shoes!
