What kind of shoes are good for running?
nike or new balance.
Reply:Assuming that you are not running in spikes, which is what I hear a lot of girls requesting in my store for XC season, then I have some very good suggestions for you. Not knowing if you need a stability shoe or a straight cushioning shoe, I%26#039;m going to suggest some lightweight, durable shoes that have the best of both.

Asics-2120 or Keyano. Both have a neutral gel cushioning system that will provide shock absorbency and motion control support. They tend to fit young women%26#039;s feet very securely, and both are lightweight. Personal Favorite.

Saucony-Hurricane. Lightweight, made out of a high quality foam, with a stability rail going up and down the middle. Awesome and comfortable shoe.

Nike-Structure Triax or Pegasus. Both have been featured in Runner%26#039;s World magazine as the ultimate distance running shoe for women. They use air (you know, Nike Air Max) in the middle of the shoe for cushioning, you can%26#039;t see it, but it%26#039;s extremely padded on the inside. Both shoes have amazing elements of stability as well.

Take these suggestions to a running store and ask for the best one for your ideal. There is also New Balance, Mizuno and even some Brooks. Good Luck, try a bunch on at the store, go with the one that fits you the best!!
Reply:I work for Saucony, try the Progrid Triump 4 and Progrid Trigon ride for cushioning, Hurricane, Trigon Guide, Omni 6 for structured cushioning. I love the Grid Tangent for speed, I run with the Grid Phoenix 2 and the Triumph 4 as it provides cushioning and stability.
Reply:Asics are THE best running shoe i have ever had...my nikes just didnt do much for me, have used asics for two years of Track and Field and XC and they are soo comfortable and have awesome support.
Reply:Brooks.... go to your local running store to get them.
Reply:Lots of good brands of shoes out there, including Saucony, New Balance, Asics, etc. The best shoe for you depends on what type of foot you have and how you run. Go to a runner%26#039;s store and seek some advice.

Good Luck
Reply:comfort is everything, forget name brands if there not confortable
Reply:i hav new balance shoes ..n i use them in gym ..they r good to go..i guess u shuld take ne balance...its pretty good..thy arent evn like slippery most of the time....
Reply:Asics for sure! I had Nike shox for years and never got very good at running. My feet were always hurting after working out. I really invested (they can get pricey) in a nice pair of shoes and it has made a world of difference. They look stylish too!!!
Reply:asics are the best running shoe for the money

Nike gave me blisters and since switching i haven%26#039;t had another blister
Reply:definitely NIKE!!!! best shoes ever!! trust me, i play vball and we run alot. they are very durable and light!!! :) hope this helped!!
