Does anyone know of good running shoes that can have a lift added to the sole?

One of my legs is shorter than the other and therefore I have to where shoes with a lift in the sole. I am going to start cross-country running soon and I will need better shoes than I have now. The problem is that the shoe must have a large amount of room between the sole and the footpad, and can%26#039;t have airpockets or anything fancy in the heel, it also must be a soft type of rubber all the way through the sole to be lifted. If anyone knows a good shoe thats up to these standards I would appreciate the help. Thank you.

i run cross country too and it is SO important to get a good pair of shoes. i suggest going to a front runner or a store that has specialists that help you find the right shoe. when i run, i role my feet inwords, which they pointed out to me, so they got me the right shoe to make running more comfortable. another option is finding a regular pair of shoes you like, then getting those insoles to put in them.
Reply:If you haven%26#039;t already seen a podiatrist about your problem, I would recommend seeing one. It may be possible to be fitted with orthotics that go inside your shoe that would have different height heel posts. That would be up to the podiatrist to decide.
Reply:check your shoe store for fit then
