Brands of running shoes?

I am looking for some really great running shoes i can use for track in the spring. What brands are best for long-distance running on a track and where can i find them?

Brands of running shoes?
%26gt;The brand shouldn%26#039;t matter. It should be whether the shoe fits your foot.

To pick the correct shoes for you. You need to know why type of arch your foot has(high, low, or none). This will determine whether you need a stability shoe, a neutral shoe, or a motion control shoe. You%26#039;re pretty light weight so you would stay with either the performance version of the shoes I just mentioned, or the standard version. The only other would be the Plus, but that is for runners over like 180 pounds.

You should go to a running shoe store and get fitted. The experts will be able to find out what kind of shoe your foot needs and get you running. They should have you try on at least 4 or 5 different models and brands of shoes. Don%26#039;t worry about what brand the shoes are. There are many different brands and what you%26#039;re looking for is the shoe that works best for you. If it is a true running store they should have a treadmill for you to test each one of the shoes on. Look for a store that offers something like a 60 day return policy. If for some reason the shoes don%26#039;t seem to be working after you run a few miles, you can take them back and exchange them or get insoles to fix any problems you might encounter.

The right shoes can make a big difference. They can help keep you from getting injured, shin splints, or even stress fractures. A few extra dollars is worth not having to deal with all that pain.

Good luck!
Reply:i am a runner, and i am a personal fan of asics. you can find them at a *****, or onlineshoes.com which is a very good website for shoes. if they dont fit you can send them back and theyll send you a new size! don%26#039;t buy adidas or nikes, also i know some girls on my team who swear by mizunos. so those might be a choice.
Reply:i am a girl and i run a 5:25 mile, and i would recomend nike track spikes. however, if you dont feel like you would like to wear spikes i would recomend mizuno wave riders. it really depends on your weight and how much support you need. if you need more supportive shoes go with asics gel keyanos. hope this helps!
Reply:Asics, nike, reeboks, and adidas, or new balance
Reply:ok
Reply:saucony, brooks, new balance, nike, get them at any shoe store or special running shoe store
Reply:I would go to a specialized running store and get fitted for a running shoe that works for you. What brand is good for one person might not be the brand for you.

If you go to the right kind of store, they can evaluate on a treadmill how you run and recommend a shoe specifically for you. I had a really bad roll in and I wear a Nike that fixes it for me and I run without pain now.

Your average sports store will not have all your options or the knowledgeable personnel to help you get the right fit.
