Planning to buy running shoes, get pain in the front "foot balls" area, what kind of shoes i should buy?

I have flat to normal arch and i under-pronate. daily running is close to an hour only.


i have been suggested to go for asics shoes, any idea which one amongst their range

Someone needs to watch you run to see why you are getting pain in the balls of your feet. My guess is lack of cushion.





Nike%26#039;s used to run narrow, so I only had a couple pairs ever. I ran is Asics mostly, then Adidas, New Balance, Brooks, Saucony and one pair of Reeboks. You really should try on many pairs because they are all a little different. A running store will let you run in each pair as you try them on.





You can also try some inserts, they give better cushioning and can change the way your foot rolls as you run. Keep experimenting withthese things, because you don%26#039;t want to run hurt. I usually got 300 miles out of shoes before they were junk. Make sure to get new shoes often enough to prevent injury.

Reply:It would seem to me that football shoes would be just what you need.
Reply:Go to a real running store where they will videotape your gait, stride, steps and fit you according to the analysis.
