Good pair of running shoes?

I am looking for recomendations for a good pair of running shoes, I have no brand preference and I would like recomendations on shoes that cost 120USD and less.

Good pair of running shoes?
PIck your own running shoes. A few of the things you need to consider are:

What is your foot type? High arch, normal arch, low arch or flat foot.

Your foot motion? Supinate, normal or pronate.

Body type? Some companies specialize in heavier shoes for heavier runners.

Are you running roads or trails? Two types.

If you have a friend who works in a physical therapy clinic they could really give you some good advise. Here a couple websites that could really help you:

Reply:you have to pick your own shoes - that%26#039;s probably the best advice.

i went with the crowd and chose the new balance 991 and haven%26#039;t looked back since. they are good shoes but who knows if they would work for you. everyone is different. good luck
Reply:whatevr feels best.but make sure they look sexy.arrrrrghhhh
Reply:Spend $130 and pick yourself up Asics Kayano, and never look back. =D
Reply:I went through Army boot camp and a portion of my active service with a single pair of Etonics.

I buy them whenever I can find them, (and need a new pair of shoes)
Reply:asics kayano, definatly ive got em
Reply:The best thing to do is to go to a running specialty store. They will try to address any problems you might have like overpronation and will have you try on a lot of shoes and may even watch you run in them. The people that work at these stores are usually runners themselves and understand the needs of runners.

Reading shoe reviews is also helpful. Running Times and Runner%26#039;s World will be coming out with their fall shoe issues soon. You can also read reviews at http://www.runnersworld and http://www.roadrunnersports.com

I can tell you that I usually favor New Balance motion control shoes, but right now am comfortable in Brooks. However, it doesn%26#039;t matter what shoes I or anyone else likes, because what works well for me, may not be right for your foot. I can%26#039;t find a comfortable pair of Nikes, but our neighbor went to the local running shoe store over the weekend, tried on a bunch of shoes and found that a pair of Nikes was the most comfortable for him!
Reply:It depends on your foot. The best running shoe is the best 1 that fits u
Reply:Theres 3 types of feet. The underpronator (whose arch is usually high and rigid,) the neutral (normal flexible arch,) and the underpronator (who has an arch that is very low.) If you under or overpronate, your shoe choices will be harder to find, any may be bulkier. If you are neutral, shoe choices will not be as hard. I%26#039;m a slight overpronator, and at 130 pounds, I just use a neutral shoe, the Puma Heras 2 and I have a pair of Adidas gigarides for those days when I need the xtra support.
