Reccomendations for Walking/Running Shoes?

I%26#039;m starting to walk and hopefully will progress to running. Any ideas for a good shoe? I%26#039;m looking for something that is reasonably priced and relatively cool looking...I%26#039;m 30 so nothing that is all white and %26quot;nurse%26quot; looking. I also like grey shoes as a pref before white but that%26#039;s just a little detail, nothing I%26#039;m set on. I%26#039;m more interested in support and good wear.

My absolute favorite brand of shoes is New Balance. They offer amazing support and are very comfortable. Trust me - I do a LOT of walking and large hill climbing (wouldn%26#039;t call it hiking exactly, but it%26#039;s similar). They ones I have are grey with a blue New Balance logo on the side. The logos come in all colors I think... I%26#039;ve seen them in purple and pink anyway.





At Kohl%26#039;s you can usually find them on sale for around $30.

Reply:Asics %26amp; New Balance%26#039;s are my personal favorites, and they last forever. Not alot of other walking/running shoes out there provide the proper support, durability, and light weight.
Reply:Try the Mizuno model or ASICs. These shoes are built for running.....good designs, good support and balance, nice and cool colors to choose from.....
