Needs help on finding running shoes?
First, running shoes have to be fitted. You can have 10 runners wearing 10 different shoes all saying their shoe is the best shoe. So best is to go into a sports store that specializes in running.

There are factors to consider when buying running shoes. First you need to buy shoes that are about 1 size bigger then what you would normally wear. This allows for foot expansion during the strike.

Second, you will need to determine if you have a special need for a stability or motion control show. These help folks who pronate or supernate, usually a knowledgeable sales guy can help with that by watching how you walk and run.

Expect to pay about at least 80$ or more for a decent pair of runners to train in. As for brand, your choice Nike, New Balance, Asics and Adidas are all good choices but there are many other brands on the market.

Good luck

Reply:both the guys above say Asics because they%26#039;re light and pretty comfortable. The only way for you to find out is to try each brand%26#039;s best shoe and see which one fits the curvatures of you foot. keep in mind that you have to break them in so they wont fit perfectly at first. If you want a really good fit take your old spikes to a running store (no not a sporting goods store like Dick%26#039;s but really a local running store). They will look at your old shoes and fing the wear points and direct you on what shoe you should get. Good luck!
Reply:personally, i don%26#039;t think that adidas running shoes (or nike, for that matter) are that great.

Asics are the best for track shoes, and mizunos and brooks are also up there.
