Best way to wash my running shoes?

What is the best way to wash my running shoes. They are Asics Gel running shoes. I ran in the trail today and they got covered in mud.

I%26#039;m assuming i can drop them in the washing machine, but it doesn%26#039;t have any instructions about heat settings etc.

Best way to wash my running shoes?
I%26#039;ve found that putting them in separate pillow cases and washing them with bed sheets or towels (something really soft) works very well. Just be careful not to use bleach or wash them with anything hard/rough/sharp! And also, try to get as much mud off of them before you wash them (although I%26#039;m sure you%26#039;ve probably done that!).

Good luck!
Reply:fairy washing up liquid, works best.dont put them in the washing meachine it melts the glue Report It

Reply:I%26#039;d probably just hose them off and let them air dry. But if you insist on throwing them in the washing machine then the main thing is DO NOT put them in the dryer. That%26#039;s not good for the shoe. Let them air dry.
Reply:you don%26#039;t wash them.
Reply:DO NOT WASH RUNNING SHOES!

They will get ruined, even if the outer appearance seems normal, it ruins the entire shoe.

It%26#039;s mud...no big deal. If it really bothers you, just take a dry brush and rub the outside once the mud dries.
Reply:I have washed my shoes in the washing machine without any trouble. I would not put them in the dryer. I would suggest puting newspaper in your shoes. The newspaper will dry your shoes pretty quickly.
Reply:i use the ten second shoe cleaner i got from just for feet, i also have asics gel and it works very well on them
Reply:bleach the outsides not the sole or inside just the outsides and they will lok like they are totally new!Use gloves while rubbing the bleach onto your shoes if you want them sparklii shiining stars so you can shine like a lizard...i guess.
