What running shoes to get, I land funny on one side of my right foot?

What sort of running shoes should I get, my foot lands more on the outsdie edge of my right foot. its more noticable on a treadmill and due to the way my other shoes wear down.

I would defintiely recommend that you go to a running-specific store and have one of their reps do a gait analysis for you. They%26#039;ll have you take off your shoes and socks, and roll up your pants so they can watch your natural stride. Also, bring in your old pair of runners, and they can sometimes look at the wear pattern on your shoes to help them determine what kind of shoes you need.

You either pronate or supinate, I don%26#039;t recall which is outside to inside, and vice versa.

I went to Running Room, and they did the gait analysis for me for free, and then helped recommend several styles that would work best for me. They were really helpful!
Reply:There is new Shoes out now that are supposed to be very good for imperfections in Walking or in bad Posture. They are called M.T.B%26#039;s, Masai I dont know what the other Abriviations mean. But apparently they force you to balance correctly on your Foot. They have no depression for a Heel on the underside of the Shoes and it takes a short while for you to be comfortable in them. They have a Web Site for the Stockists look them up .
Reply:you should get a pair of custom-made shoes. give the specifics to the shoemaker about how you want it to be made especially the one for the right foot.
Reply:Go to Ryan%26#039;s Sport Shop in Homestead. Uh... I suggest the Nike Tri-D Run or the Brooks Adrenaline because I think those were the most comfortable and i think it fixed the way i ran on my feet.
Reply:the best thing to do is go to a shoe store where they can have you run on a treadmill and see what kind of support you need. those kind of shoes will prevent injuries.
Reply:The best answer here is for you to ask an expert. I really hurt myself recently from wearing incorrect footwear for my feet, and going to a specialist store has made all the difference.

I found my store by doing a zip code search on the Runner%26#039;s World Website: http://www.runnersworld.com/store/search...

Most stores will not charge you for the fitting, and they will really spend a lot of time with you to make sure you find the best shoe for you. Don%26#039;t be shy, it%26#039;s worth it!!
Reply:go to a running store that has a gait analysis. They%26#039;re great to know. It tells you what shoes to get, by the way your foot rolls when you run. It%26#039;s just a treadmill or even just running across a floor. It%26#039;s good to know
